Another week returns to the mean

Another essentially average week—productive enough, but not as productive as I’d anticipated.
•Of the two projects I’ve taken on, one is moving, though I think it will be tougher than anticipated. The other … the interviewee (who is very keen about the article) is not responding to my questions as fast as I’d hoped. Since the next 10 days or so will be very hectic, I’d hoped to be at work on the project by now but no.
Brain From Outer Space crossed the part where I keep throwing up my hands and going back to the beginning. Not very far past, but I’m feeling satisfied with where it’s going, so I guess I’ve finally gotten it right.
•I finished Mage’s Masquerade and submitted it. I also submitted The Grass Is Always Greener to a new market. I now have eight stories out—let’s home one of them comes back with a Yes!
•I did a little more work on Hey Diddle Diddle and another (as yet untitled) story (think PG Wodehouse with magic). Still too early in drafts for me to be terribly pleased with them, but they’re moving.
•The special project I worked on for eHow this week proved tougher than expected, but I think it’s in good shape. I’ll have it done by Monday.
•Wednesday once again proved a weak day for me, despite structuring my day to start a lot later. I’ll keep working on it.
As I’m fairly worn out with eHows I’m not going to post my usual list of them. Hopefully nobody will be so distressed they hurl themselves off a roof top.
