I would say this week was neutral-chaotic alignment, tending to good

Which is to say, despite the disorder, I actually got more done than it feels like.
I had a fairly clear time-frame for the week before I started it. Since TYG and I had some heavy errands we had to run Tuesday, I’d work on Monday, then take Tuesday off.
However, TYG had Monday off, so it seemed fun to spend morning getting up late with her and going for a walk, then lunch with friends. So I decided I’d do half the work Monday, half Tuesday and it would all balance out.
And it did pretty much (though a massive Irene-inspired thunderstorm meant I had to stay off the Internet a lot of Tuesday afternoon), but because it’s so different from my usual pattern, it felt very disorganized (various minor problems cropped up later in the week too).
But in reality I made a strong start on the rewrite of Brain From Outer Space, did another draft of Kernel of Truth (to make it ready for a possible reading at the writer’s group next week) and got good work done on Mage’s Masquerade and Doom-Tripper (the retitled Happening in Hell). And that’s despite somehow deleting the second draft of Mage’s Masquerade that I’d done previously.
That being said, Doom-Tripper still feels very clunky; I stopped for the week mid-story when I realized I was getting very plodding in my rewrite (I’ll start fresh next week).
And I still haven’t submitted anything. As I’ve noted before, doing any writing in the evening makes it hard to go that extra mile and do a few bits more, like submit.
However, TYG has personal errands to run tomorrow so perhaps I’ll do some submitting then. I normally shun weekend work, but I have a couple of evening events next week, so getting ahead wouldn’t hurt.
