And we’re back—

Not that you probably noticed I’d gone. But with Internet down yesterday (vicious storms in the area) posting was impossible.
So, as to my week:
•It appears that the eHow money/business articles I’ve been doing for months are now wrapping up. Probably just as well: They’re getting technical and obscure enough that it’s getting harder to find ones I can actually do (I presume that’s a sign all the easy topics are used up).
Once they’re all gone, I’ll be back doing some section of eHow with a slightly lower pay, but not so low I’ll be strapped for cash. But that does explain my musing about money earlier this week.
Still, the $25/article fee at the moment does take care handily of my completing less than my article quota.
No Good Deed Goes Unpunished looks really good. I’ll probably hold off on more revisions until I let the writing group have a crack at it.
Brain From Outer Space? Not so good. Trying to work in all the new arcs is straining my ability to plot——not that I can’t plot, but I do a lot of it while I write and rewrite. But I don’t want to work through another draft without at least some idea of where I’m going (I suspect in the end, some of the added arcs will get trimmed).
Bros Before Ho’s went out to my beta reader. I’m not sure it’s ready——I can’t see anything wrong with it, but I’m not sure it works. So a second opinion will help.
•Finally reopened one I haven’t worked on since last year, Kernel of Truth. Some of the criticism I got on it is definitely valid, but I think I can fix the problems (and make a couple of other changes to improve things).
•And I think I’m finally caught up from my out-of-town trip and feeling reasonably normal and relaxed again.
We’ll see how long that lasts. 🙂
