Murphy Anderson’s art for DC’s Silver Age revival of the Spectre (all rights reside with current holder). I wanted this one for years before I finally found a copy, and discovered the story inside was indeed cool (I’ll have more to say about it later).
Unfortunately I can’t think of anything I can do as a fiction writer that would be equivalently grabbing, because describing awesome scenes just don’t have the same punch
