Another forty-hour work week, waahoo! Actually slightly more than 40, though I doubt I could have pulled that off if not for the time I spend watching movies. Forty-plus hours of writing, plus dog-care? That would have been tougher.
Still, I’m pleased with myself, especially as we had a houseguest for a couple of days. Wednesday morning that really slowed me down: Puppies, TYG still here, plus someone else, it made me too overloaded to focus. Fortunately, again, movies, which takes less focus (and the Brick Bradford movie serial doesn’t deserve much).
Accomplishment-wise, I made my Demand Media quota, watched more movies than planned, and turned in my new And column (not up yet). And got my estimated taxes taken care of, though I still have to submit the payment. I also worked on my 2014 taxes, which are almost done.
I didn’t sleep well, which is annoying. Since TYG began turning down the temperature when we go to bed, I’ve been sleeping better, but not this week. I’m not sure if it’s a)that with the weather warming up, I need to start cooling the air earlier in the evening; b)the effect of cooling has worn off (I’ve thought “Oh, my insomnia’s stopped” many times before and had it return) or c)just the dogs being very lively in the evening. Last night we had a furious storm, which woke me as I was drifting off to sleep. Then Plushie, who seems to be a bit thunder-phobic (he has other noise issues too) began pacing and getting off the bed, TYG began reassuring him … by the time everyone else was asleep I was completely awake. And stayed that way for a while.
But even tired, I had a good week. 🙂
