Two good weeks in a row? Yay!

Not perfect, but definitely not a SNAFU either.
Cutting back slightly on my eHow quota has worked out well. I haven’t been as sluggish——except when I ran into a couple of really complicated ones——as I’ve felt the past few weeks; today, in fact, I was amazed how smoothly everything went. Doing some work in the evening and taking a longer lunch break continues to prove itself the best option too.
My work on Brain From Outer Space was a bit sluggish, but I’m once again writing instead of just plotting. And I’m not stopping until I’ve finished a revamped draft and then——well, we’ll see what it adds up to, right?
Southern Comfort went slow, but that’s because I’m trying to get a good rough draft without going through two or three bad rough drafts. Plus I did some heavy switching on the characters: My tough guy is now a tough woman, and the sexy female lawyer is now a sexy male lawyer. The tough guy/woman’s best friend is still a guy but gay. I don’t know if these changes will stick, but they have pumped a lot more energy into the story, so I’ll keep with them for now.
Mage’s Masquerade is at next-to-last draft stage. I’ll give it a couple of weeks, then print it out and finish it in early February.
•I got one story submitted … and another story back. Four so far this month. The editor gave me some criticism, so I’ll look at it before resubmitting.
