Which is the purpose of book covers, right? For instance Robert Foster’s cover here is weird but I admit I’m kind of intrigued.
This one by Paul Lehr intrigues me too.
And so does this Morton Roberts cover for a short-story collection, even though I don’t see how the theme ties in with the image.

And a creepy uncredited one.
This uncredited cover ain’t bad either.
Richard Powers’ covers are always interesting.
And I’ll wrap up with a James Bama cover because evil flautists descending from space ships really is an eyegrabber. It’s even faithful to the novel.
