It seemed like a workable idea …

Monday, I said posting this week might be erratic. I didn’t realize it would be this erratic.
The reason is simple: TYG and I are on vacation at the Mensa annual gathering. Rather than announce we were away from home, I figured I’d just post from the gathering and talk about the trip later. While the odds of a professional burglar reading my blog are low (not to mention we have security alarms and a house-sitter)I can’t quite shake the fear of someone reading this blog, laughing malevolently and informing the Durham thieves guild “Tonight, we strike!”
What I brilliantly overlooked is that the gatherings are lively events and I’m rarely lying around the room long enough to post anything. Plus, I chose to save weight by taking my tablet. Posting on iPad is doable, but it’s different enough to slow me down (I haven’t figured out how to link to things for instance).
So this may be the last post until TYG and I get back this weekend and fully recover. No regrets though–the gathering has been a blast. Details to follow.
