Misogyny: Some examples

•The New Hampshire House passes an anti-abortion bill that claims, quite untruthfully, that abortion is a proven cause of breast cancer.
•Right-wing bloggers defend Rush Limbaugh’s use of “slut.”
•As proof old sexist stereotypes are still around, one conservative asserts women are a layer of logic buried under emotion.
•A Wisconsin lawmaker favors banning divorce even for abused spouses. His solution: They should remember the wonderful feelings that led them to marry their husband in the first place.

•The Colorado House declares the fetus a person. Of course, as Slacktivist notes, we base almost all age-oriented standards on the date of birth, so the argument it’s some minor technicality compared to conception is pretty dubious.
