Midweek progress report

Middling. No pun intended.
My internal alarm clock wakes me up automatically between 5 and 5:30, which is good since I don’t want to set a real one—TYG sleeps later than that, and she needs her rest. This morning, however, I did what I rarely do and overslept.
And then the Internet went out—after it went down last week, the repair crew placed it on the ground in preparation for burying the line on the 29th. Since it’s placed right by the neighbors’ drive, it got dislodged and I was sans internet access until a new guy came out. To their credit, it was quick, and then they sent someone out to bury it, so now it’s taken care of. In any case, the oversleep, plus the downed Internet meant there wasn’t much in the way of eHowing it today.
On the plus side, I finally got the emotional aspects of Cry Roboticus (now retitled Mayhem Ex Machina) fixed and the story looks good. And the writer’s group last night were very pleased with Uneasy Lies the Head That Wears the Clown—I’m thinking it may be ready to go next month, sooner than expected.
Hopefully, I can make up eHows tomorrow as well as squeezing in early voting. We’ll see.
