Last weekend was busy

TYG got a cat tree. We assembled it and put it by the window where Wisp likes to look up at the bird feeder. That was not a big thing.

What was? She also ordered a newer, taller bookshelf to replace one of our older ones. We had to A)put it together; b)move books around. The old one had been fiction; the new one includes art books, music books, recipe books and my pop culture books (movie and TV related books have their own bookshelf).

Yes, that’s the cat tree next to it. We were hoping the food might tempt Wisp to explore.

Here’s a closer look at the pop culture books (with other stuff on the second shelf). They’re much easier to access if I want to look something up than the place in the dining room I had them previously.

Plushie helpfully watched us work and gave directions. His directions are invariably “Stop working, feed Plushie!”

We also had to rearrange the fiction from the old bookshelf and put it elsewhere, which we managed.

Ironically you can barely see the bookshelf because it’s behind where our Christmas tree goes. We spend Sunday morning buying it and decorating.

The fence is there to keep the dogs from drinking up the water at the base or chewing on gifts once we put some out.
