According to my experienced cat-owning friends, “bush cats” stick close to the ground; “tree cats” are the ones who climb.
Wisp has always been a bush cat but since settling in to her new life as an indoor cat, she’s gotten more adventurous.
She’ll even eat on the shelf behind her if we put a bowl there, which saves us having to fend the dogs away from her kibble. And so far, no knocking things off shelves. Hopefully that will continue.
