Plushie does not like thunderstorms. Even heavy rain makes him nervous. He either stands there trembling in fear or starts clawing at the nearest door in hopes he can smash through and find some place safe. It’s grown worse with time, possibly because with his eyes growing weaker, he feels more nervous about threats.
So during a recent storm, I wound up cuddling and holding him for about a half-hour.
Despite the happy look, he wasn’t entirely at peace but I think snuggling helped him a little.
