A fun reason not to post yesterday–

Picnic!
We’ve had the basket since our wedding two years ago (it includes an insulated pouch, and comes with glasses and plates strapped in) but never used it before. Either the weather didn’t cooperate or TYG’s schedule didn’t cooperate or sometimes I just didn’t have the time to figure out what to make. So I finally decided Saturday would be it. A fairly simple menu (cheddar cheese and red-pepper sandwiches, salad and ginger snaps) and a lovely setting, the North Carolina Museum of Art. So after eating in the museum park, we headed into the museum to enjoy the art.
We will definitely have our next picnic without waiting another two years.
