Too tired to post much deep thought, so instead I’ll talk Thanksgiving.
I took TYG up to my mother’s, where she met my brother (and best man) and my niece for the first time. We played the usual array of boardgames, introducing TYG to Clue, Masterpiece and rummy (the poor dear has led a sheltered life). We hit the National Gallery and the Museum of Natural History on Wednesday, then went to the Pentagon Mall for Black Friday just for the heck of it (I got the cutest little bazooka …).
Despite the time I had to spend proofing the book, it was most enjoyable.
Now, the current work week: It went pretty well. I squeezed in one or two extra eHows to compensate for whatever distractions take place Christmas week, resubmitted Uneasy Lies the Head That Wears the Clown, and Cover Stories and Who Watches the Watchmen? continue to improve. Plus covering the council meeting, as blogged about earlier.
